Julia Iakovleva

As a gymnast, Julia competed at an elite national level earning the title of Master of Sports. She began coaching in Russia where her gymnasts achieved great success in regional, national and international levels. She came to the United States to continue her coaching career where several gymnasts under her tutelage have had resounding success. She currently is a Development and National USA judge. Her passion and dedication to the sport is unrivaled and we are thrilled to have her as our head coach.

Maginur Gilmutdinova

Maginur started training in Russia at the young age of four. During her 19 year career as a gymnast, she earned the Master of Sports title and received many accolades including 7 time Champion of Moscow, Champion and prize-winner of Russia in both individual and group, and she was a Moscow team member. After her career as an athlete, she coached internationally in Russia, Greece and Egypt.

Dasha Ukhova

Dasha began her gymnastics training in Ukraine. For 10 years as a gymnast she accomplished many achievements including Adult Category 1 and Candidiate Master of Sports in Ukraine. Dasha has been coaching for serveral years imparting her knowledge and deep love for the sport to new gymnasts.​

Junior Coach

Sunny Cai

Sunny started her rhythmic gymnastics journey here in Seattle. She had many successes in her competitive career but she decided to step down early to pursue her academic endeavors. However, her passion for the sport continues as she coaches young girls to fall in love with rhythmic gymnastics and to always strive for excellence.​

Junior Coach

Layla Kaim

Layla's training began at the early age of 4. During her rhythmic gymnastics career, she competed nationally and received many awards. Her training also included artistic gymnastics, dance and ballet. She has a special appreciation for proper training methodology and she endeavors to teach new gymnasts safe technique so that they learn this wonderful sport without risk of injury.​

Junior Coach

Anhui Ang

Anhui trained as a gymnast for 9 years ending her lustrous rhythmic gymnastics career as a Junior Level 10 Elite gymnast. She has won numerous state, regional, and national medals and is now part of the PNW team as a junior coach. Anhui is excited to share her experience and knowledge with young gymnasts who are unfamiliar with the sport and wish to find out more.

Volunteer Conditioning Coach

Dimitrii Iakovlev

With a master's degree from St. Petersburg Academy of Physical Culture and Sports, and over 20 years of experience as a personal fitness trainer and physical training coach (working with figure skaters, hokey players and track and field athletes) and over 9 years of experience working with rhythmic gymnasts, Dima works with our gymnasts to strengthen their physique and improve their core strength and jump capabilities.​

Team Doctor

Michael Kim

Affectionately known as Dr. Mike around the gym, he brings his expertise as a Psychiatrist and Osteopath to assist the girls in developing mental toughness and provides Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy to accelerate recovery from the strenuous activities endured by our gymnasts.
