Our Programs
At PNW we offer a variety of classes for all levels of skill and commitment.
Competitive Team

Our competitive team consists of gymnasts who are dedicated to the sport. They travel and compete on a national level. This program is designed for the serious gymnast and requires significant commitment.
Xcel Elite

The Xcel Elite program is designed to provide a competitive outlet those who desire to participate in competitions without the extensive commitments of the Competitive Team program. It is tailored to gymnasts who want to have fun learning a sport that builds self esteem and physical fitness.
Pre-competitive Team

This program is an introduction to the Competitive Rhythmic Gymnastics. Designed for children ages 5 to 6 years old, this program focuses on developing basic gymnastics skills, ballet and dance. Children will also learn to incorporate movements involving different skills and stretches as well as begin using balls, hoops, and ropes.
Xcel

Our Xcel program is for the curious gymnast. We teach the basics of rhythmic gymnastics and aesthetic group gymnastics movements and apparatus skills just like our Xcel Elite program but without the pressure of competitions.
Tiny Team

The Tiny Team program is for children ages 4 to 6. We focus on developmental movement, balance and body control. They will be introduced to the sport in a fun yet structured method. Our hope is that they will fall in love with the sport and continue on to become rhythmic gymnasts.
Aesthetic Group Gymnastics

Aesthetic Group Gymnastics (AGG) is a team sport that combines elements of gymnastics, dance, and ballet to create visually harmonious and expressive routines that are designed to tell a story or convey an emotion. The sport emphasizes seamless teamwork, intricate choreography, synchronized movements, and the graceful execution of balances, jumps, and body waves.
Ballet

Ballet is an art form and physical discipline involving complex, choreographed movements that require immense strength, flexibility, coordination, and precision. Ballet training is at the core of Rhythmic Gymnastics and Aesthetic Group Gymnastics but it is also significant as a form of cross-training, providing significant physical benefits such as increased muscle tone, core strength, endurance, balance, and agility. These improvements enhance athletic performance, help prevent injuries, and translate to better control and quicker reactions
Men's Rhythmic Gymnastics

Men's Rhythmic Gymnastics (MRG) is a discipline of gymnastics recently adopted by USAG as a category of Rhythmic Gymnastics. In contrast to Women's Rhythmic Gymnastics, MRG uses different apparatuses like long stick, clubs, rings and rope. Unlike the graceful beauty of women's rhythmic gymnastics, MRG highlights explosive power, speed, and acrobatic skill and techniques. MRG choreography uses elements of martial arts, dance, ballet and tumbling to create a visually engaging performance.
Flexibility and Conditioning

Rhythmic gymnastics training embodies enhanced flexibility, strength and balance. Our training techniques allow dancers, skaters and cheerleaders to perform at their highest potential.
